Tape Bingo
Music video bingo for any get-together
Tape Bingo is a game you play while a music video mixtape is on the TV. Everyone gets their own card on their phone and taps a square when they spot it in a video, and five in a row wins.
Audiotape makes mixtapes of music videos from any idea, and we call them tapes for short. Tape Bingo is free with all of them, and nobody needs an app or an account.

How to play
01
Put a tape on
Press play on any tape on the TV. It can be one you made or one of the free ones on this page.
02
Hand out the cards
Press Tape Bingo on the tape's cover, or have everyone scan the code next to the video on the TV. Every phone gets its own card.
03
Spot five in a row
Tap a square when you spot it on screen. The middle square is free, and five in a row wins.
What's on a card
Things you can point at
Most squares are things you might spot in a video, and there are more than 200 of them.
- A disco ball
- Sunglasses indoors
- Fog machine working overtime
- A big group dance
Facts about the songs
Up to 14 squares on a card are facts that are true for that tape, and they never name a song.
- A cover
- A #1 hit
- From a movie or show
- A one-hit wonder
Long shots
A few squares are rare enough to carry a Long shot tag, so expect an argument about the llama.
- A keytar
- A llama
- A mime
- A juggler
Three ways to play
On your phone
Open a card from the tape's cover and mark the squares yourself as you spot them.
Joined to the TV
Scan the code on the TV to join from your phone. Song squares open up once a song that fits has played, and you can mark one square per song. When someone gets five in a row, Bingo! shows up on the TV with their name.
On paper
Print 2 to 20 cards, two to a letter page, and every card in the stack is different. You can also print table cards with a QR code that opens a card on a guest's phone.
Free to watch
Tapes to play it with
We made these ourselves, and anyone can watch them for free with no account. Press Tape Bingo on any tape's cover to get a card.

Questions
- What is music video bingo?
- It's bingo you play while music videos are on, with squares for things you might see, like a disco ball or a big group dance. Tape Bingo is Audiotape's version, and it deals a different card to every phone.
- How is it different from regular music bingo?
- In regular music bingo, the squares are usually song titles and someone has to host. Tape Bingo's squares are things you spot in the videos and facts about the songs, so nobody has to host and nothing on the card gives away what's coming.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Tape Bingo is free with any tape, and the ones on this page are free to watch. You only pay if you want to make your own.
- Does everyone need to download something?
- No. Cards open in the phone's web browser, so nobody needs an app or an account.
- Can I print the cards?
- Yes. Open a tape's Tape Bingo card and choose Print cards. You can print 2 to 20 cards, and every card in the stack is different. Paper cards are marked by hand, so you'll want a few pens.
- Can I play with a tape I made?
- Yes. Every tape has its own Tape Bingo, and its song squares come from that tape's songs. A private tape's card only opens for you, so change who can see it before your guests try to join.
- Do you win anything?
- There are no prizes. If you've joined from your phone with the code on the TV, though, Bingo! shows up on the TV with your name on it, and you can bring that up for as long as people will let you.
